a/perture cinema is a community institution and is dedicated to presenting the art of film in an open and welcoming environment. If you have a passion for film, people, and providing meaningful theatrical experiences, then a/perture is the place for you. We are currently hiring for the following roles:

 

General Staff Position:

We currently do not have any general staff openings.

General Staff Duties:

Box Office Requirements – selling tickets, preparing concession orders, answering customer inquiries related to memberships, donations, etc.

Usher Requirements – proactively greet guests, line monitoring, preparing theater spaces before, during, and after each screening.

Facility Requirements – theater cleaning, bathroom maintenance, counter/bar top maintenance, perform daily concession maintenance duties, monitor and stock concession and bathroom supplies.

Social Media – must consent to be a part of our social media channels! We post a lot on instagram, TikTok, and Facebook and love to showcase everyone on our team.

We aren’t all work and no play, general staff members get access to free movies, popcorn & sodas, and enjoy various discounts other concession items and box office events.

This is a part-time position, 18+, starting at $15.00 per hour. Weekends, weeknight, afternoon & evening and holiday availability required.
