Join the culinary experts of Winston-Salem and the film experts at a/perture for an evening exploring the best of both worlds together.

With a “Dinner and a/movie” ticket, you join us for a curated multi-course meal at a locally owned restaurant; a movie at a/perture to enjoy with your dessert; and a talk by the chef discussing their inspirations.

Coming up in June and July 2026:

June – In conjunction with “Fastballs and Fast Cars,” we are challenging a downtown chef to create an elevated three-course menu of ballpark-inspired food paired with a beloved baseball film. Check back for updates and tickets!

July 22 – We are partnering with Foothills for a menu inspired by the chef’s personal favorite film, “Dr. Strangelove: Or, how I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb” (1964). Check back for our menu and ticket link, and go ahead and mark your calendar now!
