dinner + a/ movie

Join the culinary experts of Winston-Salem and the film experts at a/perture for an evening exploring the best of both worlds together.

With a “Dinner and a/movie” ticket, you join us for a curated multi-course meal at a locally owned restaurant; a movie at a/perture to enjoy with your dessert; and a talk by the chef discussing their inspirations.

We are also curating “Cocktail + a/movie,” “Dessert and a/movie” and more! Keep checking back for new dates in this recurring series.

To puchase tickets for a selected date, click on the time or use the “details” link on each screening.

Coming up in November and December 2026:

November 1: In honor of World Vegan Day, Nov. 1, a/perture will be hosting a vegan meal provided by Camino Bakery inside our theater, paired with a screening of the documentary Forever Home, telling the story of a sanctuary for rescued farm animals in Pittsboro, N.C.

December 2: It’s the perfect date night or friends’ night out – make and eat your own pizza at Cugino Forno, then walk to a/perture for a screening of Mystic Pizza in which pizza is practically a supporting character!
