Face to Face Goes to the Movies

 

The Wake Forest University Face to Face Speaker Forum and a/perture are hosting films inspired by the speakers coming to Winston-Salem for Face to Face’s sixth season during 2026–2027.

 

The full lineup for the Face to Face 2026–2027 season is Cynthia Erivo on September 16, 2026; historian Ken Burns on October 21, 2026; a special add-on event with “The Office” writer Michael Schur in conjunction with Wake Forest’s Program for Leadership and Character on December 3, 2026; Chef José Andrés on February 25, 2027; and golf legend Jack Nicklaus on April 20, 2027.
Our film lineup includes:
Aug. 25 – “Harriet” (2019) starring Cynthia Erivo
Oct. 6 – “American Revolution (Ep. 6)” (2025) produced and directed by Ken Burns – FREE Screening!
Nov. 10 – Cult classic comedy “Office Space (1999)”
Feb. 9, 2027 – “We Feed People” (2022), National Geographic’s documentary about World Central Kitchen founder José Andrés
March 23, 2027 – Legendary golf film “Caddyshack (1980)”
