a/perture’s Sweet 16

This year, a/perture cinema is celebrating our Sweet 16! For sixteen years, we’ve been proud to bring independent films, documentaries, special guests, and one-of-a-kind cinema experiences to the heart of downtown Winston-Salem.

Our loyal supporters are the reason we’re still here. Through your attendance, memberships, donations, and advocacy, a/perture continues on as the Triad’s only nonprofit art house cinema.

As we look ahead to our next chapter, community support remains essential to our long-term sustainability. If a/perture has introduced you to a memorable film, sparked a meaningful conversation, or simply become a place you love, we invite you to invest in our future.

Here are some ways you can celebrate our Sweet 16:

• Rent a theater or the a/mobile screen to make your next party feel even more special than a Sweet 16.
• Purchase concessions and merch when you visit in person and consider rounding up your ticket to support our cinema!
