You support a/perture because you love movies and having us in the heart of downtown Winston-Salem. Now, you can travel with us for even more memorable movie experiences!

INTRODUCING: a/travel, an exciting new program to travel with a/perture to state and nationwide film events including:

• A group expedition to a major regional film festival in April 2026 (tentatively April 23-26, three nights/four days).

• A book launch party for AMERICA’S HOMETOWN MOVIE THEATERS: PLEASE REMAIN STANDING by High Point University Professor Benita Van Winkle, in spring 2026 in Winston-Salem.

• A trip to Chicago in September 2026 for a historic theater and architectural tour (tentatively September 10-13, three nights/four days).

• A group viewing experience at the RiverRun Film Festival and other local/NC destinations.

• And more!

The best part? You’ll help a/perture remain as a sustainable source of art, inspiration, education, and a powerful driver of our creative economy!

The a/travel program is open to any who have supported a/perture with a donation of $500 or more in 2025. Memberships are included, and Obie and McGuffin members are automatically invited!
