ma/dness in march
March is for more than just basketball. Join us at a/perture cinema to delve into the rich history of madness in cinema. From corruption of power and greed, to psychological thrillers from home and abroad, filmmakers have long used the tools at their disposal to convey a sense of mystery and lack of logic, keeping us on our toes and on the edge of our seats.
The series kicks off with a very special screening of the new 4K Restoration of Billy Wilder’s classic Sunset Boulevard, followed by a discussion and book signing with David M. Lubin, author of ‘Ready For My Close-Up: The Making of Sunset Boulevard and the Dark Side of the Hollywood Dream” on March 7th.
