SPECIAL GUEST: Previous Oscar nominee; Voting Academy member; and UNCSA faculty member Michael Miller will join us for our VIP reception!

As an editor, Michael has worked on two Oscar nominees – the 1982 short film “Split Cherry Tree,” and as assistant editor on the Oscar-winning “Raging Bull.” Read more about him here.

Discussion will be moderated by “Roxie on the Radio,” Roxie Wadelington of 102 Jamz WJMH radio.

VIP tickets also include three complimentary admissions to Oscar-nominated short films! Each ticket holder will receive tickets valid for: Oscar-nominated short feature films; Oscar-nominated documentary shorts; and Oscar-nominated animated shorts. All will be screened at a/perture beginning Feb. 20 and the tickets may be redeemed for any showtime of the ticket holder’s choice!

Lindsay Clein is an award-winning journalist and storyteller from here in the Piedmont Triad, and she is thrilled to be back in her hometown telling your stories and bringing you the news daily. Lindsay has a passion for using her experience as a journalist to make a difference. She believes journalism is not only about holding people accountable and sharing facts, but it’s also about giving a voice to people who otherwise wouldn’t have one.
