world cinema spotlight
Showcasing contemporary world cinema is fundamental to an art house cinema. Exposure to cinema originating outside of the United States is vital to our role as global citizens. World cinema introduces us to faces we’ve never seen before on screen, languages that are unfamiliar to our ears, and cultures/communities that make us curious to learn more about the world in which we live. Global filmmakers are reinventing the art form with new styles and modes of storytelling through the shared medium and art of film.
