Film A/ppreciation for Adults
Jealous of the summer camps we have planned for elementary through high-schoolers this summer? Well now adults 18 and up can join in on the film fun with Film A/ppreciation for Adults! On Saturdays during the summer, a/perture will present a series of films based around learning more about filmmaking and film history, led by local film experts and enthusiasts. Taking a closer look at the elements of filmmaking, we hope to share our love of the medium, and pass some of our excitement and passion into our community.
Combining all aspects of our film a/ppreciation camps for students, we will take a look at a film each week that embodies every area of the process and that you have likely never seen before, especially not on the big screen. Spanning decades, countries, and themes
Seven Saturdays (& one Sunday) June 6-August 1 with expert guest speakers. Join us for one class at a time, or sign up for the entire summer at a discounted rate HERE!
