a/perture curator Jake Laystrom will lead a special Film Appreciation session for the film WALL-E, more information below!
WALL-E is one of the defining films of Pixar’s golden era, celebrating connection through art and music with groundbreaking animation. With a near-silent first act, it is a wonderful film to study for techniques in visual storytelling, as well as an uplifiting narrative about people coming together to make the world a better place.
Screening of the 2009 film (1 hr 38 mins) to be followed by a discussion with a/perture curator/programmer Jake Laystrom.
Join us for the 3rd Annual Blooming Together Intergenerational Arts Festival, a celebration of intergenerational creativity.
