A clever and haunting take on the classic Universal monster film, director Leigh Whannell’s film was released weeks before the COVID-19 pandemic shut down theaters. It then moved to VOD, leaving many audiences without the ability to see the film in a theater and appreciate the framing and remarkable sound design of one of the decade’s best horror films.

When Cecilia’s abusive ex takes his own life and leaves her his fortune, she suspects his death was a hoax. As a series of coincidences turn lethal, Cecilia works to prove that she is being hunted by someone nobody can see.
