The School of Filmmaking at University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA), a/perture cinema, and RiverRun International Film Festival have partnered to launch Scene & Heard, a new annual film series that will bring filmmakers and other creative voices to Winston-Salem each fall for screenings and public conversations.
The series begins Friday, Sept. 18, with Boots Riley, featuring a screening of Riley’s “I Love Boosters” followed by a discussion with the director and moderator Abrea Armstrong, Executive Director, Triad Cultural Arts. The event will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the ACE Exhibition Complex on the UNCSA campus.
